Rescue Diver

Enhance your ability to anticipate and address water-related issues, boosting your confidence as a diver. While demanding, the process is incredibly fulfilling.

The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

• Self-rescue
• Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
• Emergency management and equipment
• Rescuing panicked divers
• Rescuing unresponsive divers

Course Schedule 

Day 1:  8am - 5pm  Theory and Open water shore dives

Day 2: 8am - 5pm Open water shore dives

• eLearning and certification fee
• 2 Day Course

Course Exclusions

• Transport to and from site.
• Scuba Gear Hire, rental gear can be arranged at a extra cost. 

Pre-course Requirments

• Adventure Diver/ Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with Underwater Navigation Dive; First aid and CPR training (or equivalent) within 24 months
• Complete eLearning material before the course starts
• What you need to bring: Sunscreen, Swimwear, Towel, Lunch
